I have been worried about my Mom. She has had a difficult time with her health after an emergency surgery in mid-December. With our move to Toronto we have been anxious to spend some time together. Today we were able to have time and her health allowed us to visit NOTL and a local fruit stand. It was a very good day and Mom’s health seems to be slowly improving.
Tomorrow (Monday) our attention turns from St. Catherines to Stratford where Susan will give birth to our first grandchild. How do you measure that kind of anticipation? When Jason and Phlip were born the circumstances were similar. Though I was excited and nervous, to be honest, really had no idea what life was about to become like. Those early days were filled with the highest and lowest of emotions. And have never been so tired since!
You can check Jason and Susan’s blog (under our blogging family) to get a sense of their emotions. Tomorrow their world too changes forever.
The next generation begins tomorrow and perhaps that’s the most outstanding thought for me tonight. Tomorrow we enter a new relationship. We will be in love with her as soon as we see her, in fact we already love her. She is and will be precious in our eyes.
Whatever her name she will be our granddaughter loved and adored! We are ready to spoil her!
