The great melt was on today – the sun was out, we got up to 4 wonderful degrees!  If you live in a community that has back alleys you’ll know how exciting it can be to have trenches in the back lane!  They’re created by the melting water running down the lane in the tracks left by the cars.  Our trenches are 5 or 6 inches deep – that’ll tell how much snow we’ve packed down over the past 5 months.  Yeah – 5 months of snow!  And we’ve still got 3 or 4 feet of snow in the backyard!

Finally – the boxes are out.  We started in earnest tonight to pull out boxes to begin the task of packing.  Wendy’s created an inventory list.
