Something is wrong.  The CPU has been running at 100% for the past while – incredibly slow! So…I ran some tests and got this message.  Failed Multi-Core Test.  Here’s the message:

The hardware is not functioning properly. To correct the problem:
• Turn off the system.
• Detach the power cord and wait for one minute.
• Re-attach the power cord and re-boot the system.
• Re-run the test.


So here’s my question….does anyone have any experience with this?  Does this mean the CPU is “toast”?  It’s now 3.5 years of age.
