January in Alberta

 Winter on the prairies has it’s own beauty.  Sometimes the sky and the snow seem the same colour and where they meet undistinguishable.  It is not that white washes away any detail – far from it.  It is though every texture is highlighted by it.

Once upon a time the bison must have made it seem quite different. 

It is a simple beauty.
