What does it mean to be sentimental?

You’ll recall this post about setting up our router being as easy as 1-2-3!  Well I am happy to report that it is now set up and running.  Phil did find the pin # on the accompanying DVD with the read me file.

So after some fiddling…we have a new broadcaster to the world – locked of course!

I awoke this morning with feeling very sentimental.  Sentimental is defined as an adjective: expressive of or appealing to sentiment, esp. the tender emotions and feelings, as lovepity, or nostalgia: asentimental song.

Tender emotions would describe it – as we age and the kids lives grow and develop it becomes more challenging for us to be together.  So when I awake knowing we’ve all slept under the same roof -I am sentimental.  When Phil and Jason were younger, and Wendy and I would visit my parents home I recall (I was a little less tender hearted) hearing my Dad talk about how wonderful it was to have everyone under one roof.  Now I get it.

“Youth is wasted on the young” penned George Bernard Shaw.   I get that too now.

So on a scale of 1 to 10 are you sentimental?  What moves you to be tender hearted?
