This is from a clip I took on a very small Minolta digital camera in February of 2008. This was my first trip up to Yellowknife, NWT, and they very graciously offered to take me out on the lake for a ride! What you notice are two things; 1. How very quiet everything is and 2. How much those dogs smell!

At any rate the wind was very cold but it was a great deal of fun. This link will take you to the video that proceeds this one as the we arrive to get the dogs into the harness which you’ll see lying on the snow just outside the kennel on the right.
