In all my travels this was one of the more curious signs I came across.  It is posted in the airport in Rankin Inlet.  I’m not sure I would think of dropping a piece of clothing to distract him as I might be distracted!

At any rate I asked around the airport if Polar Bears are a problem.  I was informed that most of the time they don’t see too many bears, but south of them at one of the other smaller airports they keep a couple of rifles out on the tarmac as bears have been known to approach planes that are being loaded.

It brings a whole new meaning to “airport security”!
