Teddy Bear Toss – Lethbridge Hurricanes

I cannot really think of a place I am more comfortable than behind the puplit.  Some people are nervous speaking before others – small crowd or large!  For whatever reason I am not…and have not really ever been very nervous.  It is just how I am wired.  Today I spoke on the nature of God’s gift to us and we considered Isaiah 9:6…He will be called or known as Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father….four great characteristics that give framework to God’s rescue of His creation.

Last night we attended the Lethbridge Hurricane’s game where they held a Teddy Bear Toss to support various charities in Lethbridge including The Salvation Army.  Almost 3000 Teddy Bears ended up on the ice!

There were lots of volunteers to count and bag the bears which were loaded into trucks, pick ups and vans on the ice.

This afternoon I was introduced at the Carol & Coffee event as an enthusiastic photographer and blogger.  So I’m wondering if anyone from that crowd has found my blog.  If you have why not leave a comment?!
