I grew up with the Sunday morning refrain when greeting each other – ” He is rise”, response: “He is risen indeed”. And today is the day we mark the resurrection of Christ. This is why The Church has met on Sunday (the first day of the week) and not the Hebrew tradition of Sabbath….
