And now to adjust

on

For the past decade my week has been filled with early mornings, lots of interesting meetings, many challenging matters and lots of travel. And now it has come to a screeching halt.

The impact of this is just coming to land on me – on my pysche – on my soul. I knew a sudden stop was coming, but the impact of that is just dawning on me.

I have lots of things I want to do. I have a list of things – and it’s prioritized. It isn’t the change as so much of the context. The people, the systems, the objectives… gone. In a moment. Over. Done.

OUCH.

So now to settle in to what will be our new reality.

First of all I have a conviction about caring for our neighbours. I really want to develop relationships there. And I want to develop new relationships.

But all that will take time.

Now to the to-do list. Off the top – get the oil changed after our long drive!

You will soon find another rhythm of life and you need to enjoy each day as it comes I’m sure the neighbours will appreciate your concern and care for them, you have many years ahead to contribute your gifts and talents to others
