When our good friend Cheryl was diagnosed with cancer 10 years ago we were very worried – we all were.  What would be outcome for this wonderful woman with two daughters in high school?  But through the marvel of modern medicine, lots of prayer and Cheryl’s own positive attitude she’s healthy today with her first grandchild.

Recently we’ve had a few more friends diagnosed with cancer.  It is still a devastating diagnosis but I wonder if we’re turning the corner on this horrific disease?  We’ve sure poured a great deal of money into research!

I’m praying for our friends that their outcome will be as positive as Cheryl’s and that the Lord will be their constant companion.
